About This Coffee

This is a really special one for us. We brought in this lot from producer Jorge Mira at Finca El Jaragual in Antioquia, Colombia, specifically to celebrate our 8th anniversary. Finding a coffee this unique and joyful felt like the absolute best way to mark the milestone.

For this anniversary release, Jorge focused on the rare and striking Pink Bourbon (Rosado) variety. To elevate its natural sweetness and playful character even further, the cherry underwent a precise Thermal Shock process. By controlling the fermentation and using a sudden temperature shift to lock in the aromatics, the team managed to create an intensely expressive cup.

It’s an 88-point coffee that is great fun to drink. You get a pop of sweet bubblegum and juicy strawberry upfront, smoothed out by a rich, creamy white chocolate finish.
