Our daily driver, a classic coffee with Dark Chocolate notes that is great with or without milk from Fazenda Pinhal in Sul de Minas, Brazil. Acquired by the Gabarra Teixeria Family in 1994, the farm is a model of holistic agriculture. While vast, only 296 hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation; the remainder is purposefully reserved for natural forest, eucalyptus, and pastureland—a commitment that earned the farm the award for Brazil's Most Sustainable Coffee Farm in 2019.

The family's dedication extends beyond the environment (where they run a bird sanctuary and use 100% solar energy) to the welfare of their employees, offering dental care plans and partnering with local universities to enhance the working environment and prevent occupational injuries. This focus on ethical and environmental excellence translates directly into a reliable, consistent, and exceptionally clean cup profile that forms the perfect foundation for our house espresso.

We've had many lots from Fazenda Pinhal to use for our house coffee and have found it works extremely well with or without milk, but is perfect in espresso based drinks.
